Chrismas Is Early This Year!

What a long week it has been!

Today, I woke up very early...to do my laundry & clean up my place. Very enthusiastic? yes, I believe so...I'm going back to Kota Kinabalu tonight. I booked the last flight today & be coming back here on Monday's first flight. Forget about Monday...here's the story;

When I came home last weekend to spring clean my apartment and get it prepared for my special guests, I also did a little shopping. I booked myself a brand new Canon EF 55-250 IS lens! In fact, I already paid for it! The lens will only arrive today...I was told that the shop's only expecting 3 units of it. Guess I really had to decide quick. One was already booked by the sales executive there.

Why am I so excited about the lens, one may ask. Well, remember when I told everybody that I was going to upgrade my lens in my previous posts. This is the time! Canon have generously created a new range of IS lens and priced lot less than their previous ones. Of course, features wise it's not as good I think. It's at f/4...

Never mind that, I think I have to start from somewhere. From the reviews and forums I read, this lens will be a good additions to my gear. Moreover, it's Image Stabilization lens! a must have feature! It's a crime for not having them...

I'll be expecting to mount the lens on my camera tomorrow...I guess Christmas comes early this year! Wish me luck! I hope I'll be able to cope with the high expectation you guys have to my next images from my new gear...
