Temminck's Sunbird (Aethopyga temminckii): The Montane Ferrari

They are tiny, quick, loud and simply beautiful. However, I have not really managed to reflect that beauty with my photos....(yet).

However, to get both male and female on the same day was a lucky break. Alphon was courteous enough to let me have a quick photography session with male and kept his distance. Thanks Man! You'll get your sunbird soon!

Here's the couple...and guess which one is male?

To keep everyone updated, I am still in search of my Mountain Tailorbird and Mountain Leaf Warbler. Wish me lots of luck!

I saw two today at Kubah National Park near Kuching. Two males skirmishing at forest edge - did not see female.

Congratulations on photographs
