Sunda Bush-Warbler : The Goal Setting Shots

Alphonsus and I went for bird photography session at the Mesilau Nature Resort last weekend. After a quiet time in Kinabalu National Park on Saturday, we decided for an overnight stay at The Cottage Hotel in Kundasang. We wanted to start the day earlier as we normally do on Sunday.

We couldn't resist from going to Mesilau that Sunday. The weather was just too beautiful. The bright blue sky above Mount Kinabalu offers plenty of opportunity for bird photography. The original plan of returning to Kinabalu National Park was obviously changed.

It has been so long since I last filled my 8G CF card in a single day. Well, last Sunday I almost use it to its full capacity. I ended up deleting most of them, but when you have that many of shots, the margin of success is just slightly better...don't you think so?

These shots are some of them...enjoy them as much as I enjoyed taking them;-

Remember my top of the list birds? I just wish they'll be as good as these. A bit too ambitious maybe, due to the nature of the birds but I just don't mind. I'll keep trying...The standard has been set.

Very nice work, Jordan. Cute warbler. You are lucky to have him in clear perch like this!
