…that’s it…I’ve made up my mind…this is it…by hook or by crook…rain or shine…walk the talk…ok I admit it…with the wife’s consent of course (thank you dear)…the “Budak Penjahat” gang made good with the pact…the pact that originates from the gang’s fondness for photography…a slowly but surely process…together with Chai, Seng and Ron…embarked on a 6-hour road journey to Sepilok…stopped awhile…continued another hour to Segaliud…by this time the tummy’s in agony…necessitates short stopover …belly loaded, we departed for Kg Bilit…arrived at 3.45pm to be joined by Gary at 4.00pm…Gary who just arrived from Tawau…Gary who completed the quorum…took a 15-minute boat ride to Kinabatangan Jungle Camp…a boat ride in the rain…a boat ride to wildlife haven…a boat ride that finally unites a city dweller with the naked nature…an amazing trip…a marvelous journey…a trip that would include the wife next time round…a trip that this time round saw me walking to the jetty…to the jetty frequently just to get enough signal…to the jetty that is 100 meters away…to avoid being reprimanded for not calling home…to have peace and tranquility …tranquility during this 1st endeavour…for a city dweller like me…much ado about nothing…is just not the case…
